Making this one simple change to the way you store your sheets will keep them all together and prevent them from becoming disheveled in the linen closet. This is one of my oldest tips & I swear by it.
First, let me tell you, I have a love/hate relationship with laundry. What I love is the smell of laundry. What I do not love is when my joy is interrupted by the dryer’s buzzer going off; it is, what I refer to as, a “joy goblin”. When I hear that buzzer, it takes me back to when I was young, playing the game Operation. Hear me out, everything is going well…I think I could be a future surgeon and then BUZZZZZ….I just screwed myself out of a $2000 prize for improperly removing the bread basket; DANG IT!
This is the same way I feel when the dryer buzzer goes off; it means I now must fold that giant pile of laundry. Folding sheets is not a strong suit of mine. At times, after folding, they look like they should be on their way to the thrift store donation bin…they’re just kind of a mess
* Luckily, I found a way to disguise my horrible folding skills, for sheets anyway: I just put the folded sheets, along with 1 pillowcase inside the matching pillowcase. This method keeps all the sheets and pillow cases together, so you can just put them away without risk of them coming unfolded; WIN!
Now, if only I could find something to shove all my folded clothes in, I’ll be set ;)
